Hi all, I just want to warn anybody in the Pretoria Moot area to be careful when dealing with Eagle Properties, especially when it comes renting through them. Make sure you put in your contract that you want interest paid with your deposit when you move, don't fall in the trap with them like we did, we did not get a cent interest back with our deposit and they will not inform you that you need to put it in your contract from the start, talk about easy money being made on the expense of others!, and when you leave rather fix all the faults they pick up, believe me they go through the place like hawks just looking for a reason to not pay your deposit back in full, I just paid R850 for replacement of a garage lock!, the lock costs R50!!, I was then told by them that the lock and arms had to be both replaced as it was a unit, what ****!!, I phoned garage door repair shops and they said it is nonsense, makes you wonder how much the kick back was for them from the contractor..., we even left the house cleaner for them that we got it for. I even replaced some of the faults that popped up in the 5 years we stayed in the house on my own expense, yip they did not do any maintenance in the 5 years we stayed there, nice!, please people be very careful for companies like them that is only out to nail you once you move, as long as you pay your rent on time like a law abiding citizen and make them money you are the best thing next to sliced bread!, but as soon as you leave they will look for anything to nail you and ***** your money!
