Eagle Express - Furniture lost and damaged

Furniture courier from gauteng to ballito, I had personally packed the truck with my couches, Bed, Dining room table and chairs. <br> <br> Eagle staff then repacked the truck in doing so, had taken no care with the good, only to have the couches torn on every corner and arm rests, Grease smeared all over the bed, chairs damaged and table went missing. <br> All of the items are renders useless. <br> <br> It was insisted Cash on delivery, NO EFT's, so i held back R1000 of the R5000 payment until the missing table was delivered. <br> I was then told the table was damaged beyond repair, and they will not deliver it, they are not insured and i can keep the R1000 I held back. <br> <br> Should have charge Eagle express with theft. <br>
