Bad customer services at Eagle Clothing

I am a very committed Eagles customer for the past 8 years. I had a very bad experience on Sunday 2 October, I bought a top and the first time I put it on it started making lint only on the top part of the shirt. On Sunday 2 October 2022, I decided to take it back to the Secunda Eagles branch to show them and to exchange with something else. The way my integrity and honesty was doubted is the main reason I am writing this letter. As I walked in; the lady at the door that is managing Eagles in Secunda looked skeptical. She said to me; well this is the first time anybody complain about that but she treated me if I am in the wrong. She also said she will have to phone her superior and that load shedding will soon start. I was quite offended by the way she spoke to me and she went to the back to phone the superior. My husband in the mean time said he will handle it as I also had to cool down by the way I have been treated; so I quickly went to another shop and my husband waited for the lady to return from the back where she went to make the call. When she came out; she told my husband that her superior said it is my mistake as I had put it in the tumble dryer, they will not allow the garment to be exchanged! They made assumptions without even investigating. I don’t use a tumble drier; and even if I did; why is not the whole garment full of that lint? To me it shows the quality of this specific t-shirt is not good; and I know as time goes on it will even look worse. That is even excusable; as the best of companies sometimes buy an off product that they are not aware off, so that can be forgiven. For me the main thing is I am the customer and I was treated unfairly. I expect to be treated well, as I am also part why Eagles can exist by my loyal support. I wrote a formal complaint to Eagles head office on Monday 3 October, and up to now nobody even rep**** on that email of phoned me. What happened to customer services? I am very disappointed and will surely not support Eagle Clothing anymore!
