Insurance Repair ****

These guys are assigned by SA Homeloans as service providers for home owners insurance security system related claims. I live in the UAE but My wife still stays in SA. When the alarm was taken out by lightning it was a week before I visited for xmas so I took care of filing the claim etc. They came out and replace the control board and said that we need to test to make sure that none of the sensors were damaged in which case they would come back and take care of it. This seems logical and I made the mistake of signing off on the installation of the controlboard. A day after the alarm started acting up and the process started of trying to get them back on site to investigate and fix. Numerous call from me and promises from them later I had to leave to return to UAE, leaving my wife alone in the crime friendly country of ZAR. This meant I had to start spending money on international calls trying to get them to do something. All fruitless. They are not reachable and SA Homeloans also abdicated all responsibility because I signed off the installation.<br> <br> So beware - Do not use them and if your insurance company insist on using them as a service provider simply refuse.
