Avoid Justin du Preez and E14 Appliance Repairs and Air-Conditioning
I paid Justin du Preez in full for a washing machine after he assured me it would be delivered. Before delivery, he claimed he had a family emergency and urgently needed the payment. After receiving my money, communication became increasingly difficult. The washing machine was never delivered despite repeated promises, and my requests for either delivery or a refund were unsuccessful. When I eventually demanded my money back, I was told to take the matter to the Small Claims Court. I was even given instructions on how to do so, rather than any genuine attempt to resolve the matter. I have since opened a ***** case with SAPS and am pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal channels. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing business with Justin du Preez or E14 Appliance Repairs and Air-Conditioning. If you are asked to pay upfront, please proceed with extreme caution and verify everything before transferring any money.

He advertised a machine for sale and requested full payment before delivery, claiming he had a family emergency and needed the funds urgently. After payment was made, communication became increasingly difficult. The machine was never delivered, and repeated attempts to contact him were ignored. When I requested a refund, I was simply told to take the matter to the Small Claims Court. He even explained the process as though he was doing me a favour, showing no intention of resolving the issue directly. In my experience, this is unacceptable customer service and has left me out of pocket with no product and no refund. I strongly recommend that anyone considering doing business with Justin du Preez or E14 Appliance Repairs and Air-Conditioning exercise extreme caution. If you are asked to pay upfront, make absolutely sure you have verified the legitimacy of the transaction before transferring any money.
