Michael Belstead - A ****** and ***** Dont get him to install or touch your electric fence

<p>I live in Cape Town and wanted to have an electric fence installed after we had a break in at our home. I contacted a couple of companies and this was one of them. After a recommendation by a local security store I decided to engage Michael Belstead of the company E F R to install the fence. I paid him the deposit of R9000 which was 70% of the cost. He seemed very efficient and personable at first. He arrived on time and started the job which had to be interrupted as I was also installing a sliding gate and this held up the fence installation. When I was ready for the rest of the fence to be put up - about 75% of the job - Michael made 4 appoinments with me to do it and never showed up. He was still telling me on the phone this and that excuse, then eventually he admitted that he had spent all my deposit money and had nothing to buy parts for the completion of my job. He tried to get me to put more money into his account and then into his suppliers account - all of which I refused to do, I offered on several occasions to come with him to the suppliers and purchase the goods myself and take them myself to my house so he could just come and finish the job - ie all he had to do was supply the labour. But noooo - I never saw him again and he stopped taking any of my calls. He has now deleted his cell phone number and disappeared. I believe that he is working for his brother in law - but I don't know his name. He is a ***** and ******, and unfortunatley got away with my money. I have heard from other people in the industry that he has done this to others as well and also gone to people's houses and taken away equipment that they had on site already to "repair" it and never come back with it!! This guy operates around Capetown and drives a small white beaten up bakkie with his logo on it: ********** his fax is ********** 693 and cell phone was ********** 445. He banks with Capitec Bank acc no ********** 591. Avoid any dealings with him !!!</p>
