E-car (Beemer Auto) Landsdowne Total *******

On the 1st Feb 21 I had my car towed to e-car (Beemer Auto) in Kanarie road, Landsdowne, because my car was over heating and smoke came out of the engine, I explained to Debbie Africa what the problem is And she told me they would do tests.

On the 3rd Feb 21 she sent me pictures of how messed up my water pump looked, okay, so they fixed they replaced the water pump, I also have all the what's app messages and photographs that were sent to me and no where have they indicated or have sent me an quotation to sign off as to what the cost would be to fix my car,

On Thursday 4th February Debbie informed me of the cost and told me the car is ready for collection, she sent me a voice note about my water bottle cap that needed to be replaced and that she's trying to find a cheap one but the prices are all over R400, I then phoned her to say no I would sort it out myself, that's when she told me Motorite authorised R4500.00 including vat which leaves me with a difference that I needed to pay, I then ask her what was the amount of the job, she then said R8047.31, that is when I was so shocked that I Said R8000 why such alot? Told me mechanic struggled and had to get help.

I was charged 6.5 hours to remove and reassemble part (Waterpump) @ R580 per hour 0.5 hours compression test @ R290 1.0 hours combustion leanest @ R580

Not even a week later (15th Feb 21)I am face with the same problems of an over heating and smoking engine car.

The message I received from Debbie [02/16, 10:00] It was leaking at the blank off by the radiator ...we put thread tape on it and it is not heating up now ...if it should happen again in the future then the radiator must be replaced [02/16, 10:01] Otherwise it's going fine now

So now I have to drive in fear not knowing when my car would overheat, but I was charged over 8k for repairs of which I feel was a total *******.
