Avoid this company at all costs!

E C Floors & Blinds in Vredekloof, Brackenfell, Cape Town. A flooring and blinds installation company run by Eric Cheminais. I contacted this company via Gumtree for blinds. He arrived at my house, took measurements, shook my hand when I agreed to his "low quote". I had no reason to doubt that he would deliver, as he even arrived in a branded vehicle. Little did I know that I would never see him, my deposit, or his promised blinds again. He promised to refund my money after not delivering the blinds some 2 months later. It's been over 4 months, empty promises of repayment, no refund, no blinds. Disgusting lack of ethics, giving all small business owners a horrid name. I now have to go through the effort of issuing summons against him, which is underway. Stay away.
