EC Drilling - Borehole ****

We paid Jaques and Annetjie du Plessis a R7100 deposit towards a special that they were running on installing a borehole in March 2024. Before any work or consultations had started we then unfortunately informed them that our neighbours had pulled out of their financial contributions towards the borehole and we would not be able to go ahead with the borehole. Jaques said not to worry he would work out a payment installment option for the balance, which was obviously greatly appreciated until he kept promising to arrive the "following week" and this continued on for a few months until eventually they just stopped taking our calls and responding to any messages, they appear to have blocked some of our contact numbers. We eventually got hold of them via a new number and said we are prepared to engage attorneys in order to pursue our refund. He said that wouldn't be necessary they would refund us the "following week". Again they aren't taking our calls or responding to our messages leaving us no option but to go the attorney route. Its very frustrating for us as we live in a really rural area and we have no access to clean running water. Our money is now sitting in Jaques and Annitjies bank account while we sit with no water and no funds to sort our water problem out. Please be aware when doing business with Jaques, his wife Annitjie and also the daughter who works in the office. Also just to add that we have only recently seen that this company has been reviewed on this site for the same problem many times previously.
