Airstrait bought in Dubai

Please do NOT purchase a Dyson product from overseas if you are from South Africa. I purchased on in Dubai in December 2024. It started giving issues in February where it would just not switch on. I sent it in for repairs in June (as I was too busy at work to get to the repair shop). This is their verbatim response: "Kindly be advised of the below summary in relation to the work to be carried out on your unit. Action: - As per Jaun unit was tested and found faulty, Unit not powering on at all. Unit cannot be repaired as the is no spare parts available to complete repair. Unit was purchased outside the country therefore is not a valid warranty claim." They then have the audacity to send me another email as follows: "Kindly note we will return your unit unrepaired as requested by yourself". Save yourself the trouble and expense, and AVOID buying Dyson products. As you can see from the multiple reviews, the after sales service is absolutely atrocious. I wish I had stuck with my trusty GHD, which as been going strong for 13 years.
