Poor service delivery and no intention to uphold customer service

Our vehicle had been insured with Bidvest Insurance Group of which the Administrators are Dynamic Thinking (Pty) Ltd. No response to various email communications or phone calls made by us to resolve our matter has been received.

In short, the vehicle in question had been in a “pothole accident” during October 2016. According to our Broker and policy, provision had been made for a waiver excess. The car had been assessed and work was allocated to Milano Panelbeaters. The vehicle was collected in December 2016 and no excess had been paid as per agreed policy. During January 2017 we discovered that no work had been done on the vehicle’s Suspension after the pothole accident. (Should the suspension not be the first point of reference after a ‘pothole accident’?) Thereby questioning the competency of the said assessor as well as Milano Panelbeaters.

We had to take the vehicle back to Milano for repairs and when collecting the vehicle, we were informed of an amount of R6098 to be paid before collecting the vehicle. My Broker had made several attempts to resolve the matter with Dynamic Thinking in terms of the agreed policy provisions, after which I took the matter up with Kobus Mouton, Director of Dynamic Thinking. I was advised by Kobus to pay the amount and arrangements will be made to refund me on 03 February 2017.

Kobus sent official communication indicating the matter will be settled on 21 February 2017. To date all mails and calls has been ignored and no further communication had been received from Kobus Mouton or any staff member of Dynamic Thinking regarding the matter to be resolved.

The matter had now been handed to Bidvest Insurance Group to be investigated after which we will continue legal procedures.

I believe the service delivery of Dynamic Thinking and its Directors are to say the least, a disgrace. They leave reason to believe they are *********** to effectively deal with claims and customer service seems to be the last item on their agenda.
