Beware Of Dynamic Projecx

I hired Enrique to manage the construction of a patio extension at my home, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely negative. I feel it is important to share this review to warn both future clients and subcontractors about the way he conducts his business.

From the start, he subcontracted most of the work, which I was comfortable with in principle — provided he managed the project responsibly. However, as the project progressed, multiple subcontractors began contacting me directly, complaining that they had not been paid for their work, despite me having already paid the project manager substantial amounts for these services.

One subcontractor even informed me that he had to involve the police before receiving the balance of what he was owed. This was deeply concerning and highlighted serious issues with how funds were being managed.

Throughout the project, Enrique repeatedly complained about finances and app**** pressure for me to release payments earlier than agreed. In good faith, I paid him more than the contracted amounts at certain stages to try and keep the project moving forward. Despite this, progress remained slow and disorganised.

Eventually, he informed me that he could no longer continue due to the “mental pressure” being too much for him, effectively abandoning the project. At that point: I had paid him approximately 93% of the full project cost, but only about 65% of the work had been completed.

I am now left to complete the project myself, incurring significantly higher costs than originally budgeted. This has not only been financially damaging but also incredibly stressful.
