Shocking Conveyancing service (if you can all it service) at ****s Nell Attorneys Johannesburg

I have never experienced such terrible conveyancing service in my life. We sold our property in October 2017 and every time we raised concerns or asked questions, the secretary contacted the agent for advice. You would expect advice to come from the conveyancer (attorney) in the office. The attorney is supposed to act on behalf of the seller's interest but it seems that the interest only lies in whether the agent and purchaser are happy. When I contacted the attorney to act on our behalf as Sellers and requested that the file is now looked at by the attorney, I was promised a phone call with feedback by the attorney herself but only got an email from the secretary with an attitude to say that she heard that I contacted the attorney and that she as secretary is in control of the file. Needless to say, I never got any feedback from the attorney. Just an sms with full report from the secretary (which I requested almost a month ago) and now when we ask 2 weeks later why are the documents not lodged yet; the agent says they waiting for guarantees before they can pay the transfer duty BUT on the full report via sms it was stated that the guarantees were already issued.

Very close to taking this to the Law Society. It has been open from October 2017 to 14 June 2018 already. Once can only be patient up to a point.
