Bad Attitude/ Service from Hell
My wife, I and our 7 year old daughter booked at Dwesa River Mouth Lodge for two nights ( 31 March- 01 April 2015) via SafariNow. On making the booking we specified that it's for a family. The Agent booked on our behalf and we got confirmation from one Dorothy Naqudela after we paid. Neither Dorothy nor the agent mentioned that to reach the place we needed to pass through the worst roads you can ever imagine. The information advertised is grossly misleading. We had to call Dorothy who gave us misleading information about sign boards that had long been removed or fallen off. On arriving at the Lodge at 18h00 after hours of negotiating roads suitable for 4x4s we were amazed that the place had no security guards to open the gate. We also discovered we were booked in a room with two single beds and my daughter had no bed. On enquiring the lady on duty called Dorothy who rudely told me to find another place if I wasn't happy. We slept at the place for a night because our daughter was tired. This is an insult to our tourism industry. That a place with such disregard for excellent service could be allowed to claim to be a tourist destination eludes me and I have travelled the world over.
