No communication or honesty/Waiting for money

My husband and I have been trying to get an answer to why his investment money has not been paid to him as yet. He has requested to close and send through his money at the end of May, we waited the 14 day period it takes, he has went personally to the company and still did not get an answer. He called and was told it is an underwriters issue and we should wait 6 weeks. It is now August, it has been about 2 and a half months of waiting. 2 weeks ago a receptionist said he would receive his statement and his money will follow, we have got even gotten an email or phone call to explain or follow up on this matter. He has been calling day in and day out and the financial advisor has not once contacted him with any feedback. There seems to be no communication and honesty. We have been told that he is not the only client waiting for their money, which got nothing to do with him as he is an individual client and this company is supposed to be focused on the "individual". The service has been extremely poor and no one is willing to help or at least give us a straight answer. He has written a review here on hello peter and they have not responded or contacted him. The 6 weeks he was told to wait is over so why is there such an issue? This has caused us financial strain and have lost trust in the service provided by this company.
