Durbanville Clinic

Good day,

To begin with a positive note I would like to say the clinic is very neat and clean.

This is the first time I went in with my mom to get her medicine that they normally deliver to her home.

She has not received her medicine last week. She called several times and no answer for days (office and cell nr and found afterward later number has changed), yesterday she got a hold of someone, who said her medicine is ready to collect at the clinic. They said she should have been notified that from 1 December no more deliveries. She has received no such message or information. I took her to the clinic and went straight to the pharmacy to pick up her medicine because it was ready for collection as they said over the phone.

As we approached the window and spoke to the lady, she was very unfriendly and prompt and said my mother must wait. So I had to leave her there and my husband had to go back and pick her up. She waited a while and then received her medicine.

This was unnecessary and inconvenient where as they could just hand her medicine to her and she could leave and not sit uncomfortably and wait unnecessarily. Why would you tell someone to come and just pick it up and then just let them sit and wait?

In this life, there is difficulty and so many are struggling that friendliness, help, and comfort are what we need. If you are in the profession of helping and assisting people you should show the fruits of that service. Day to day all of us must help others and put them before ourselves. What you sow is what you reap.
