Durban South Panel and Paint Chop-Shop

Vehicle was booked in there JUST for spray touch ups, nothing else, no dents, accident damage or anything else. When booked in I was told approx 2 weeks, maybe earlier because its going straight to the paintshop.. No phone calls from them to update on the status, I had to phone every third day where I was told that they needed more time. Thrishen the service advisor told me that they had to respray my vehicle 4 times because of paintwork that they weren't happy with. If this is an accredited panelbeater HOW and WHY would they have to respray over and over to get it right. No mention was made of that to my Insurance, and after consulting with the insurance they lodged an audit and Durban South panel & paint has now been placed under probation with them. Upon collection of my car, I inspected it and found that they had no door rubbers on, which Thrishen then quickly tried to fix. Finally back after 3 weeks, where I had then also had to drive from the panel beater to have a valet done on the interior, because it looked horrific.

This place sucks. They're a bunch of rookies that try and squeeze every penny from you or your insurance. Just a glorified chop-shop! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!
