Horrific Service

I purchased a brand new vehicle on the 22nd April 2016. On the 23rd April 2016 a driver in front of me threw a black label bottle out their window and it hit my bumper causing minor damage. I immediately called Outsurance and Hyundai in order to find an approved panel beater. Durban Panel Beaters was approved by both.

I took the vehicle to Durban Panel Beaters on the 23rd April 2016, they told me we should definitely replace the bumper rather than repair as it is a new vehicle.

The vehicle was taken into the Pinetown branch on 3rd May. It had to go back three times as they were unable to fit the bumper correctly, the spacing under the headlights was incorrect and this was verified by Hyundai. I then took the vehicle to the Durban branch, they were able to fit the bumper correctly, however it came back with a scratch on the bumper and wet blobs of paint where they had attempted to touch it up. The vehicle was sent back and I instructed them that they need to respray the whole bumper, I received a call 2 hours later stating my car was ready. I queried whether they had resprayed the whole bumper and they said they just touched it up. The car had to stay there for an extra day, it was then brought back to me today (14th June 2016) and is still not correct as you could still see the roughness from where they had previously attempted to touch it up.

I would not advise anyone to use Durban Panel Beaters! I have no idea how a company who cannot even spray and fit a brand new bumper are approved by Outsurance and Hyundai!
