Becareful when a car from Durban North Auto Sales

Good day<br> <br> I would like to report my experience from Durban North Auto Sales. I bought a car from this dealership on 15 August 2014. 9 days after having the car it broke down. I got a mechanic in Warden where the car broke down to check what the problem is. It appeared that the 3rd cylinda head had a whole in it. I was told that the wrong spark plug had been fitted. When I called the dealership to let them know, I was told that their mechanic did not fit the wrong spark plug. I was shocked to hear that the car had been wored on by the dealership. At the time when I test drove the car and asked if there was any problems with the car, I was told only the air-con need to be sorted but either than that it is sound condition. I paid R70000.00 cash for the car, I had to pay storage fees of R13000.00 and another R4500.00 to tow the car back to PMB. I took the car to a reputable workshop and was told that the engine needed to be replaced. I spent a further R18500.00 for the engine. I reported the matter to the ombudsman but my claim was rejected due to the fact that I got a 3rd party to fix the car. Take it from me when buying a car from Durban North Auto Sales.
