Loud and Uncalled Conversations

Whilst attending a colleague's hearing at Court F at the Durban Court on Monday 10 February 2020, I was appalled at the behaviour of the Indian Female Police Officer on duty at that court.

Prior to the commencement of the court proceedings for the day, the Police Officer along with the fellow staff of that particular court discussed in length fellow colleagues and their indiscretions. The Female Police Officer discussed her drinking and even asked a member of the public to confirm her whereabouts of the previous week. She also discussed how she had beat a prisoner with her belt. Her disgust at the condition of a first appearance prisoner...how dirty he was ...was disgusting. This officer has no morals and manners and is not fit to be in a court because she has not learnt that the court is a public place and discussions as was held on that day should be done in private and not where everyone seated in the public area can overhear her.

Please may the powers that be take this under consideration.
