Garnish order

Hi ten years ago I went under administration with Durban administrator at 320 west street durban five years later I got retrenched went back to them they agreed to cancel the garnish order two weeks ago at my new job they sent the sherriff to garnish my salary for 500r a month I was shocked when I called spoke to Mr Pillay I was said to pay 5500 to resend doing my own investigation I found out four of the six accounts has been prescribed in 2018 and my boss already paid the 500r how did they garnish my salary after all these years with checking plz can someone help me
