In Dec 2012 I had a 150l Duratherm solar geyser installed. The installation company was Approved by the CTCC and I received a guarantee marked "Duratherm by WE Geysers" with the name of the plumber, the date and serial number of the geyser. After 7,5 years the geyser has developed a leak in the element flange and Duratherm (based JHB) refutes any claims saying that the company that according to the serial number it is not a Duratherm but an Ecotherm geyser manufactured in by a company that went out of business in 2003! How is it possible for a company with such little regard for its customers still be in existence?
