Shameful Dr Thea-Marie De Beer

I told Dr Thea Marie that I had a fixed amount to spend on dental health but more would be available in time. Instead of giving us the right advice to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed first to make space for the rest of the teeth to straighten up, she went ahead and put on the braces, so she could collect all the budget that I had. When the teeth did not fit the jaw obviously, she shaved them to force the teeth to fit the jaw. That shaving is permanent and the teeth can never regrow! When I forwarded my dissatisfaction to her; she became rude and dismissive even condescending. She sounded as though she was patronizing because I was black. I felt I had no recourse because I couldn't afford lawyers and she was aware of that as we had discussed the budget. At a later stage she then advised to get the wisdom teeth removed. Mind you she is way more expensive than an average orthodontist. I'm struggling to reconcile the two. Exorbitant and negligent at the same time. It's a shame!
