Dunlop tyre defects

I have been running my vehicle with dunlop 225/45/17 SP6060 tyres all around since i purchased the vehicle 4 years ago. Less then a year ago i had a tyre replaced on my vehicle with a new SP6060 dunlop tyre. <br> <br> A few days ago i started to notice a slight vibration on my steering that significantly got worse the more i drove to a point where it felt undriveable. I took the vehicle into a superquick fitment centre and it was noticed that the new tyre which was installed on my vehicle was the culprit. <br> <br> Some how the tyre has lost its round shape despite there still being 90% tread left and the rim has no buckles or dents. <br> <br> The tyre expert at the fitment centre believes this is a factory defect. Whether the tyre was installed with the defect and balanced out no one will know as this was close to a year ago.<br> <br> At this stage i have no choice but to throw away a tyre with 90% life still left and replace it with a new one. Will definitely not settle for dunlops again.
