DUNLOP POOR QUALITY TYRES!!!!!

On the 19th of October I bought two new DUNLOP tyres at TYRE TRADE SA. The guy who assisted me namely: Moosa initially offered me x2 tyres at R 800.00 and something. I then told him that I'd rather go for the DUNLOP tyres as it's a trusted brand. He still said and I quote" Good choice for the long term"

On the 24th of October I was on my way from JHB to Durban, I was somewhere pass the 1st tollgate namely: Villiers. I had a puncture and then I had to change the tyre putting on the new DUNLOP tyre. After about driving for about 30 minutes the tyre had burst. I had to wait for x3 hours from 11:00 - 02:00 for someone to help me and the cost R 3500 I incurred due to this.

I then went back to the place where I bought the tyre on the 30/11/2024, the guy namely: Moosa wanted me to pay for another tyre. Imagine the audacity this idiot has!!!! He said I must go to the place near the airport where he gets the tyres from and take it up with them.

I told him that his the supplier and they're the manufacturer and he needs to sort it out as he has a relationship with them and they don't know me. I bought the tyres from him.!!! He didn't even offer to give me a new tyre and said that the sales rep comes there every week either on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will liaise with them and told me that it would take about 2 weeks for this to be sorted.

I told him that it's not the new tyre that he needs to re-imburse but my cost which I incurred as well.

Where in the world does one pay for a brand new DUNLOP tyre and drive and gets a tyre burst the very same day, this must be a refurbished tyre sold as a new tyre, as it's simply not possible.
