Dishonesty

I visited the Value Tyre & Fitment Tokai - Dunlop Zone on the 15th of October to replace Dual Mass Flywheel and Clutch on my Golf 5, the service upon arrival was great, I was told it would take a full day. As promised they fetched me to collect my car, I made the payment of R13 914 and was told the key is in my car. I started it up and there was a loud rattling sound which was not present before. I was immediately told my tensioner had to be replaced and was given a quote for R1950. I left extremely disappointed and the drive home was embarrassing to say the least as it was as if the engine was about to fall out that's how bad the noise was. Regrettably I decided to take it back and have them do the tensioner and the noise was gone for a day then started up again. I called Dunlop and Nono asked me to bring it in to be checked which I did, only to be told that my mounting needed to be replaced and the sound wasn't coming from the tensioner and there wasn't anything wrong with the work they did. I left broken as I believed I was fixing my car but 15K later I was honestly no better off then before. Worst of all I was just told the noise is from the tensioner. Hopefully this will be a warning to anyone thinking about using there service.
