LIES AND DECEIVE

I bought a Garmin Forerunner from Due South. It was explained to me that I should never use any other repair person than Garmin self. After a while, the watch’s battery life only lasted about an hour.

I went to Due South and asked them what I can do and they instructed me to pay an amount of R65-00, after which they will send the unit to Garmin self.

I paid the amount and received a phone call a week later from Due South, where they informed me that the watch can’t be repaired, due to it being a discontinued module. I explained to the person that I only require the battery to be replaced.

I immediately took my dissatisfaction up with Garmin SA and Mr. Pretorius from Garmin came back to me within a few hours, requesting the serial number on my watch, after which he confirmed that no such watch was ever sent to Garmin

I received an explination, but none of my question can be answered. I am very displeased with Due South.
