Due South - Promotion not honoured

Hello, I recently logged onto the website and decided to make some purchases. The item I wanted was on promotion and advertised as such. I added it to my basket but at the checkout it registered the full price and not the promotional price.

I wanted to enjoy and take advantage of the promotion I took screen shots at the time and sent it off to the call Centre via email.

I later called in to explain the consultant assured me that I did the correct thing and that I should be able to to pay the advertised price. She Sai I should wait for the email to be responded to.

Later I got an email from Due South and it said.

"Thank you for your email. Please be advised the item is no longer on promotion"

It left me speechless.

I do have the screen shots available.

This is disappointing all I want is to purchase the item at the price at which it was advertised.
