20 % Offer Discount

<p>I went to the Duesouth, Walmer Park branch in Port Elizabeth on Sat, 23 July. I was after The North Face Longhaul 30inch/80litre Travel Bag which you have in stock and was also told it was on offer at a 20 % discount. I thought this was great but wanted to shop around. There was no mention of when the offer would expire. I returned today, Mon, 25th July to purchase the bag only to find out at the till that the offer had expired last night. I was assisted by the same salesman from Sat who also didn't know the offer had expired until we were ready to pay at the till. There was absolutely no way they could accommodate to extend the offer. I asked for the Manager who was also unable to do anything. I was pretty disappointed.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then phoned your Greenacres store and spoke to a few ladies after finally speaking to Claire (she was very helpful). They have the same item in stock at R100 more and said the offer was available til the end of this week, after I asked her to please check she apologised and said the offer expired end of today, I asked her to please check again as one would assume all stores keep their offers consistent, she came back and apologised and said the offer did in fact finish yesterday evening. I asked if she could please phone Head Office to see if there was anything they could do to extend the offer by 1 day, she phoned me back to say unfortunately there was nothing they could do.</p> <p> </p> <p>The full price of the item is R2799, the 20 % offer would have been a huge saving for me. I would have come back yesterday (Sunday) if I'd known the offer was going to expire. That would have been a R2k sale today for Duesouth vs zero.</p> <p> </p> <p>Kind regards</p> <p>Nikki</p>
