Dubai Duty Free. Customer Care. They don't really care

If you are a frequent flier and use Emirates as your carrier you will find yourself passing through this amazing airport regularly. In the past when there was no VAT one didn't expect the prices to be lower at Duty Free. Now however with VAT in UAE one would expect prices to be lower, and let me assure you they are not. If anything they are higher. This busy airport has a captive audience all carrying money and this opportunity us wasted because the items available are way too late to launch. If you email the customer care asking about the availability of products, you will most likely get a reply in the negative. Regardless of whether the store has stock or not. They just don't care. And if you question this they simply ignore all correspondences. And there is no other way to reach them. Seriously guys. This is a Gold Mine and the customer care is the weak link.
