Why market uneadible apples to outlets and rob us!

I bought apples at R32 at a Spar near Douglasdale in Gauteng -the stuff was tasteless and \floury"and sour.I wrote to the producer being DU TOITS FRUIT in the Cape with no reply.Surely someone must check the quality of the apples they market -why sell us ******* apples -rather use it for fruit juice. If I pay R32 per packet I want R32's worth of quality.
