When a Passport Isn’t ‘Good Enough’ for DSV
I genuinely have a headache after dealing with DSV. I ordered a SIM card through MTN, and the contract clearly states I can provide either my ID, driver’s license, or passport upon delivery. When the courier arrived, he refused to hand over my package because I presented my passport. His excuse? “The scanner doesn’t scan passports.”
This is ridiculous. A valid form of identification was provided, yet I was denied my own package. To make matters worse, DSV offered no help whatsoever. Because of this, I now have to cancel my order. Completely unacceptable service.

Refusing a package because the courier “can’t scan passports” is absolutely unacceptable, especially when a passport is explicitly listed as valid ID in the contract. This level of service is ridiculous and caused me unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I expect a prompt resolution and a clear explanation of how DSV plans to fix this process immediately.
