what happened to reliable couriers

hi there i received a message this morning stating my parcel i ordered from takealot will be arriving today i tracked it and it said it was on its way when i got home after 6pm it had still not arrived i called mr d delivery and takealot regarding my parcel and both companies stated on the system it said that the company was closed i would like to know how the company was closed if it was a residential address and how can my parcel not arrive when my boyfriend also had a order come in different courier company his arrived and mine did not!!! how is this looking after your customers where you have delivery drivers lying stating that they were at the place my parcel was to be delivered and they cannot even state whether it is residential or company....i also received no sms stating it is not going to be arriving i had to call after my order to find out where it is! a waste of my damn time and airtime USELESS COMPANY WITH A USELESS DRIVER PLS SORT YOUR DELIVERY DRIVERS AND TEACH THEM TO DELIVER AS PROMISED IF CANNOT COMMUNICATION IS NOT A BAD IDEA!!!
