Waiting for parcel since Friday

It was clear that Mr. Collin Webster was informing me incorrectly on Thursday about the delivery of my parcel Friday. Why did Mr. Collin Webster said the parcel will be delivered on Friday if it was not going to be delivered? I had to sit and wait a whole day, wasting my time, waiting for the delivery.
Your feedback will be appreciated and I need a specific time when my parcel will be delivered.
