Unacceptable Delay in Medication Delivery

It has been nearly a month—since November 15—that we have been waiting for my father’s critical medication. This is not just a parcel; this is life-sustaining medication that he must take daily to manage his illness. Your company’s failure to deliver on time has placed his health in serious jeopardy.

For over a week now, my father has been without his prescribed medication. He is gravely ill, and this delay has forced me to spend money out of pocket to purchase temporary medication just to keep him stable. Do you realize the financial and emotional toll this has taken on my family?

What’s worse, there has been no accountability or meaningful communication from your side. Despite the parcel being handed over to a third-party courier in Khayelitsha, we have not received any contact from them. There has been no transparency about when the medication will be delivered or where we might collect it. It feels as though DSV has entirely washed its hands of responsibility once the parcel left your premises.

I want answers. What is DSV doing to ensure this delivery happens immediately? How are you holding your third-party courier accountable? And most importantly, what guarantee can you provide that no other customer will have to endure the same negligence?

Should my father’s health deteriorate further—or worse—I will have no choice but to escalate this matter through formal complaints and legal channels. I expect an urgent resolution to this unacceptable situation.

I need a response today with clear next steps and a firm delivery date. Anything less is entirely unacceptable.
