The driver just left my parcel at the gate with security without letting me know, instead of taking it to my apartment

The driver just left my parcel at the gate with security without letting me know, instead of taking it to my apartment. The security forgot about it and I asked if there was a delivery I was told no. I got my parcel a day later. It could have easily been lost or ******. At least call to say you left it at the gate. I had so much anxiety thinking it was lost
