Post Office beats DSV

With one order I managed to be stuffed around twice by this service. Heck I think the Post Office has a better change of providing a service than these guys. I got to the locker which said I needed to enter a code. I phoned their helpline only to be told the driver forgot to complete the delivery process. They wanted to open the door remotely but then said the machine was offline and they would have to send a technician out. And I’m standing there with the machine fully operational. Then the story changes to its off from their side but the will still have to send a technician out and then the driver can come and complete the process and ... pathetic, useless. Will never use them or any company that will use them to deliver.

Good day Daniel,

We apologise for the inconveniences caused. We have escalated this matter to the Locker department, they will be in contact with you as soon as possible.  Kind Regards, DSV Management

DSV must be BY FAR the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with!!! And compared to Telkom, Eskom, the Post Office and other unsavoury companies in that league you guys take the cake.
So after the terrible service yesterday, I now got this SMS at 17:50 and email stating that my parcel is ready for collection. I drive down at 19:30 hoping against hope to finally pick up my parcel. I touch the screen, I enter the 6 digit code I finally received and … valid PIN, yeah, no not quite, I get this beautiful message saying “There are no parcels for you to collect” !!!!! How utterly useless and pathetic can one service (sorry, disservice) be????!!! So what? It just disappeared? Or perhaps the reason I didn’t get my code yesterday was not an accident but perhaps the parcel was never really placed in the cubicle? I wonder what the CCTV footage will reveal?
As expected, although the service is “24/7”, there is no help 24/7 !!!!! So I could not contact someone tonight to shout at. So, the email I wrote in response to your "promise" that my parcel is available, was just to inform you that I am done talking to you. I will contact Makro tomorrow and tell them that my parcel has been ****** by DSV. That they need to refund me or send me a replacement item through a reputable and reliable delivery/distribution/courier service.
I thank God that social news spread quickly - I will do you a favour and get your name out there, using Facebook, Twitter, HelloPeter, WhatsApp, Telegram, submitting an article to Mybroadband and every friend I can tell my sad story to. I will pull Makro into the story and they can choose to distance themselves from you or not ...
