DSV poor follow up and lack of respect for others

On 20 October 2021 I had one of the DSV vehicles drive into the back of my trailer whilst I was stopped at a red robot in Pinetown, KZN. I reported the incident on th DSV website on the same day and received acknowledgement of the reported incident via email. The incident was handed to Ashvanar (hopefully the spelling is correct) in the Durban area branch. To date the incident has not been resolved and I am unable to use my trailer due to the possibility of a traffic fine as the trailer light was broken in the incident. There has been communication between myself and Ashvanar but there has to be a push from my side to get a response and then silence until the next push. The people part of the DSV mission statement is "We strive to attract, motivate and retain talented people by offering responsibility, empowerment and growth opportunities. We treasure sound business acumen and work together as a global family to drive the business forward." What I have experienced while trying to resolve my issue does not ring true to the above statement. I am sure had the incident been the other way round the urgency and response would have been very different ! They are unfortunately well aware that there is nothing an individual can do against them being a large corporation. I have now sent Ashvanar a message stating I will have my trailer repaired as I need to use it and expect no further interaction with DSV. Very disappointing experience but again a "no care" attitude that is seen so often today.
