DSV called tried to deliver once instead of 3 times

DSV was supposed to deliver a cel phone package to me via an upgrade from MTN. They tried to deliver in Mid August. When i wasnt home they left me a voicemail saying that they would call me back in week, they did not call, so they decided to send the package back to MTN. According to DSV's policy they are supposed to attempt to deliver the package 3 times before they send it back. When i called to query about the package, no one could tell me where it was. They now have been tasked to redeliver the package.....will they call? will they try to deliver more than once? I doubt it.
