Courier ensures delivery

I had a delivery for an online shopping order due for delivery during this week, but did not know when to expect it. I tried to track the delivery, but couldn't find information on the site so assumed that it would only arrive later in the week. <br> Out of nowhere I received a message on whatsapp advising me that the delivery driver had attempted to deliver my parcel at my home, but no one had answered. I thought it was strange as my husband was home and said that he hadn't heard the doorbell. I asked the driver if he would be able to schedule another delivery later in the day. He responded that he was not far away and would go back immediately. In that time I managed to contact my husband, who checked the doorbell and confirmed that it hadn't been working so he waited to intercept the delivery. Got my package in good order.<br> I've had problems before where courier companies were supposed to call to arrange delivery and didn't, then when no one was home left me to call their customer service centre to find out where my package was. In these instances, I've had to make arrangements to collect the parcel myself. Thanks to UTI for making an effort to contact me and ensure delivery!
