DSV faulty bio scanners and bad service

I have ordered a router from MTN on the 29th of May 2025. MTN sent the router using DSV Couriers. DSV George contact me and made and appointment with me for Monday the 02nd of June 2025 @ 11h00 to deliver the router. On Monday the 2nd of June 2025 in the afternoon George DSV telephoned me to confirm my home address, as MTN made a mistake with the Delivery address. First DSV want to deliver and later they did not know my address (Very Strange). The representative from George DSV state that they will deliver on the 3rd of June 2025. On the 3rd of June 2025 the courier driver arrived at 14h30 the afternoon. This is a secure package, and a bio scanner must be used to verify the receiver details. After 2 hours trying to capture my details, failed as the scanner was either faulty or no network or whatever. The driver even telephoned the IT technician who is also a driver! The package returned with DSV back to their facility in George on the 3rd of June 2025. On the 4th of June 2025, I telephone DSV George to express that I am not happy with their service and lost R 28000.00 in my consulting business due to no internet over the past 4 days due to their faulty equipment. DSV - George Representative stated that they will contact MTN, for an alternative delivery arrangement. DSV George did come back to me on the 4th of June 2025, stating that MTN will allow DSV to deliver the parcel without bio security screening. (Double standards from MTN). DSV also stated that the parcel will not be delivered on the 4th but on the 5th of June 2025.

The DSV driver told me he has 4 scanners, and he is battling for months, and nothing have been done about.

If DSV was my business, I will fire the managers and his supervisors that is in charge with bio scanners. I cannot imagine how much George DSV is losing in revenue due these malfunction instruments on a daily basis.

Personally, I will not make use of this courier company, as I had also very bad experience from them in Limpopo. DSV you must wake up and learn from your opposition called RAM. They might be expensive, but they provide a very good service.
