Dstv Steve Biko Road Gezina: WORST service EVER!!!

In all honesty, if I could give a 0 star rating, I would!

Earlier today today my dad called Dstv at Steve Biko Road Gezina to ask for help on where our nearest branch is (since apparently all the nearest branches we used to have doesn't exist anymore)

A staff member picked up and treated my dad (who is a hard of hearing person) in the most disrespectful and unprofessional manner I have ever experienced.

My dad tried his best to understand and remain calm and respectful, but the staff member on the side was just yelling with what we only could assume were another staff member or even another customer in the background (while he was still busy talking, I might add)

After a few minutes of my dad patiently waiting for them, he was eventually placed on hold. Then after another attempt he got hung up on (once again, while still talking)

After that, I (also a hard of hearing person) personally tried calling them myself as well, as they were one of our very hopes left.

I could only assume it must've been the same staff member who answered, because I've been treated like a dog. They then had the audacity to raise their voice at me in the most disrespectful manner, then, just like with my dad, I was placed on hold literally while still talking and trying to explain what I need help with.

I tried calling back and they simply declined the call as it was ringing and suddenly got hung up.

Why, I don't even know, but I tried AGAIN as I am a surprisingly patient person with lost of understanding who thought this might just be a situation of pure miscommunication and bad signal maybe.

Eventually the staff member picked up again. Once again, I tried my best to help them understand, but I kept being treated like a dog. Got yelled at and literally been told to please not phone that number again, then before I could say anything else I got placed on hold again.

Could this be a case of **************? ****** even?

I wouldn't know, but what I DO know, is that never in my life have I had such rude and disrespectful customer service.

Dstv Steve Biko Road Gezina, your customer service is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! PLEASE DO BETTER!
