You must pay for DSTV hardware or get it free from Netflix/Amazon/Apple

My decoder started doing a reboot loop. Spent hours on the phone, then hours more waiting in line at Mutichoice Randburg only to be told, you have to buy a new decoder because you didnt take insurance. (this is the second decoder with the same problem). I wanted the new ultra decoder and expected a discounted price because they bleeding subscribers. Multichoice wanted R2000 (more expensive than Game!)

So here's a company that's not going to be around for too long. I must pay, insure their hardware and keep upgrading because the items are buggy, and cant be fixed while if the same thing happens to me on Netflix, i just restart my TV.

In the end I threw the decoder out in the bin outside Multichoice.
