wrongfully advised

I wanted to upgrade to Dstv compact ,was told if I paid r327 that the debit order I have with multichoice wil not go off on my bank account as there won't be any amount due on the Dstv account. But after I had paid r327 cash at Phoenix plaza branch to Alexandria Norain the debit order of r99,97 was deducted from my bank account. Were by I was told by Alexandria Norain that the money will not be taken from my account if I pay cash at the branch for the upgrade .
