Worst customer service experience ever

Mutichoice incorrectly deducted R7771.67 from our account on the 26/08/2016.

After several frustrating calls and manager intervention and excuses about internal procesess, the refund was supposed to be paid back to us by Fri, 09/09/2016, latest Monday, 12/09/2016 - more than two weeks after taking our money out of our account.

To date, 15/09/2016 we still have not received any refund. After yet another call, we are told that the refund is pending proof of bank details and ID!

Multichoice incorreclty deducted our money out of our account and now we have to provide proof of bank details???

I have never experienced such apathetic customer service in my lifetime. What happened to putting the customer first? About admitting when you made a mistake and going the extra mile to correct it and so retain your customer's loyalty?

We have been loyal, paying customers for more than 15 years, but looking at the number of complaints listed here and the frustration experienced by so many customers, makes me rethink whether they deserve our continued loyalty and hard-earned money.

Another 4 days have passed and still NO REFUND!

More calls to the call centre, more managers involved and more nonsense about internal red tape. The agent says the refund shows pending, which means it must still be authorised. The manager says no, it has been authorised and is "greyed out" on their system (whatever that means) and there is nothing more they can do, other than escalate it!

Escalate it? Wasnt this escalated 4 days ago when we out of pure frustration logged a complaint here on Hello Peter, hoping to get some answers and movement?

Seems the escalation process is as pointless and phoning the call centre for assistance.

And as a customer - WE DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR INTERNAL PROCESS WHEN YOU MADE THE MISTAKE! Fix it and pay back our money!

It has been almost a month since Multichoice incorrectly took almost R8 000 out of our account and still we are waiting for our money back.

I am dumbfounded at the absolute "we couldnt care less" attitude of this company.
