WHY WAS I NOT TOLD ABOUT CANCELLATION FEE

I am very angry and frustrated. Last week I was called by an agent from dstv and offered me pvr package on contract and told me I would be paying R670 pm. Now I'm told that because I paid cash last month and they didn't get money on my account the pricelock contract is canceled and cancelation fee is R180. No one explained the terms and conditions. I am exping multichoice to deduct R670 not R1000. I am extremely disappointed. No one explained anything to me.
