Why do you have a call centre (mentioning names with a reference number)

Hi there. I see on my online self service that I my box office amount due shows R245 due on 17 October 2016.......2016??

I phoned the call centre and spoke Nyiko Mabunda (call reference no. ********** 7-i141). He said that he cannot fix it to show the current date. I asked him to please escalate it. He first said I, myself must escalate it as he is unable to do so. I persisted as I am phoning the call centre. I honestly don't want to phone someone else or email to have it fixed, I don't have the time to do it. He then said he will try but after a short while he said his supervisor (Tshepang Melk) said I, myself must escalate it via email or phone them. I refuse to. Why do you have a call centre in the first place if they cannot transfer a call or handle this type of an issue themselves. Why must I as a customer who pays the full package struggle to sort out a mediocre issue like this?

I budget my finances. Should I just rather stop my dstv and get netflix and watch everything online? I know I took the time to complain now and could have emailed my issue like Nyiko wanted, but I don't see the need in it. I'd rather make myself heard. I feel I am paying good money, I am making sure I take the time to know what I am going to be charged when the payment is going to be deducted and I never defaulted. I am making sure I play my part, are you?

Don't test me multichoice. Get your act together quickly. I am awaiting your reponse.

Hi Rupert.

I am so sorry you took the time to phone me once and could not get hold of me. I only had one missed call yesterday. I'd suggest in trying to contact the customer more than once.

Secondly, if you took the time, you'd notice that I attached a photo to this complaint which indicates the Box office R245 due on 17 October 2016. I will email you a snippet of this image again which I took now. Yes you emailed me and I will reply on there as well.
