What must we do to get this problem fixed
We apply for the dstv stream package online about 4 months ago. the recuring payments went off the first three months without any problems. earlier this week, the stream package stop working. my wife phoned multichoice to ask what the problem could be. they said that we didnt pay. the payment shows that it went off on the 22 of september already. they then said that we must get a statement from the bank to show that the payment was made, and send it to pop@multichoice . co.za. we dont have a bank in the town we stay in. my wife had to drive 60km to reach the nearest absa from us. the bank say that since it is a recurring payment, and not a debit order they cant give proof of payment, and then gave us a statement with the a bank stamp on it.we mailed it to the given email address, we received a email back with a refference number. we waited , but after 24 hours, it is still not switched on. we phoned multichoice again, we told them that we sent the statement . they put us on hold , the duration of the call was 28 minutes.the lady started talking, and we were cut off. we phoned again , ending up with another operator. after explaining the whole story again, she put us on hold and said she must talk to her superviser. she came back, telling us the supervisor said that we must go to the streaming app if we want it switched on sooner, and explain the whole process over. we did that, and the reply we got was as follows. they say that the bank statement is not proof of payment. they are escelating it to the finance apartment. we are tired of being pushed from this side to that side all over the place, but absolutely no results. they gave is another timeframe of 24 hours. the payment went off on the 22 of September, it is the 27th of september, and the service is still not switched on. this is abselutally pathetic. we payed, and almost lost a week of viewing for the payd period.
