What is going on at multichoice
It seems to me that Multichoice is now doing as they please..Ask them what happened to my channel 183 which I was able to view on Compact now its just Gone - no warning no advising, no nothing and what has happened to channel 415 the News and weather channel it is gone and some weird message about closing and opening. I phoned the call center last night and eventually gave up as I was getting no where fast and the person on the phone just couldn't understand what info I was after eventually I gave up, so hopefully I can get answers this way

On Thursday, 10 December 2015, Travel Channel (179) was made available to DStv Compact and DStv Family customers. The channel was previously only available to DStv Premium and DStv Extra packages.
On the same date Animal Planet was removed from DStv Compact.
Please be aware that MultiChoice continuously reviews its packages to ensure our customers get the best entertainment at the best value for money. The change is part of a new packaging strategy for Discovery's channel portfolio on DStv that will capitalise on the entire range of its much-loved brands. The new approach, to be announced shortly, will align these services with DStv customers in a way that will deliver superior value to fans of Discovery's brands all over Africa.
The weather channel is now on channel 180.
