Well done Sisipo Maduma

I recently contacted DStv thinking I could just add a channel only to find out nope, you actually have to upgrade your whole package 😭 not the news I was hoping for, but I get it.

Shoutout to Sisipho Maduma from Woodlands though, ngoba wow 🔥 she handled everything so well. She was upfront and honest from the jump, and you could tell she wasn’t trying to sugarcoat anything or just push a sale. I ended up upgrading anyway, but the whole process? Smooth. Like actually a breeze.

She helped me update my contact details, explained everything properly, and what I really respected is that when she wasn’t 100% sure about something (like the price lock), she said so. No guessing, no misleading vibes just real professionalism. She even told me straight that if I wanted more details, the relevant team would have to contact me. That honesty? Rare.

Also, I had this whole issue with an insurance and a movie add-on that I wasn’t even sure about. We had asked about it before and nothing really got sorted, but Sisipo took it personally to make sure I’m sorted. She sent an email for the insurance cancellation and cc’d me, and also cancelled the movie add-on for me. Like?? That’s proper service 👏

And honestly, in South Africa, customer service can be a mess 😩 agents can be rude or just rush you, but Sisipa was patient, calm, and actually listened to every single thing I asked. No rushing, no attitude just pure professionalism.

I’m honestly so grateful she assisted me. We need more people like her, people who actually care and love what they do.
